Signal discussion group
We’ve set up a Signal discussion group for all participants. The group is meant both for practical coordination (for example, if someone gets lost or needs directions) and for us to share last-minute updates or important information during the summer school. You can join the group via this link.
Shuttle bus
There will be two shuttle buses, each with a capacity of 60 people, running between Grenoble and the Inria Grenoble Center. In the mornings, the buses will depart from behind the train station (west entrance) at this spot at: 8am on Monday and 8:45 the other days. It will also stop at Place Victor Hugo, at this spot at: 8:05am on Monday and 8:50 the other days. They will return to the same place in the afternoons/evenings, leaving at 6pm every day, except on Friday where it will leave at 3pm30. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
Alternative transport
If you wish, or if you miss the shuttle on any of the days, it is possible to come to Inria on public transport. The C1 bus, direction Pré de l’Eau drops you right in front of Inria.
In case you need it, we can organize a taxi transfer from Inria to the train station (33€) or directly to Lyon airport (270€). Please contact Géraldine or Alexia at the Inria reception desk who will book it for you and organize taxi sharing if possible.
Lunches
Lunch will be provided on all the days for participants. This will be at the cafetaria 2 minutes away from the Inria center.
Hotels
Since the shuttle bus departs from the Grenoble train station, we recommend booking a hotel nearby. We don’t have a specific recommendation—any hotel close to the station should be suitable.
Practical sessions
To fully participate in the three practical sessions you will need to bring your laptop. Please ensure that you have sufficient battery power for the 1.5 hour session on each of the three days (Monday, Thursday, Friday) as there will not be enough plugs for everyone.
The schedule for the poster sessions is available here
Please bring your poster with you on the day of the poster session. It should not be larger than an A0 sheet (portrait) in order to fit on the poster stands.
